Conference programme

Next year’s conference will follow a similar format to previous editions, with some minor changes to reflect the feedback that we received after the last conference. The main conference will run over two and a half days: Thursday and Saturday sessions will be in the conference hotel, whilst Friday’s activities will take place in St. Clare’s College, just a few minutes away.

As always, there will be a mixture of keynotes, breakouts, workshops and opportunities to network with colleagues, with plenty of options to choose from. Each breakout session will include four options reflecting the four threads running through the conference: creating a culture of wellbeing, PSHE, diversity and inclusion, and safeguarding. Our aim is to be really hands on and provide you with practical strategies and advice that you can take home and implement in your schools to make them centres of wellbeing.

Pre-conference sessions

We will repeat the popular pre-conference day for heads, this time with less sessions and more time for interaction and discussion, culminating in the AGM. This will take place on Wednesday, April 1st at the conference hotel.

There will be a parallel pre-conference day for non-heads where Robin Watts will provide safeguarding training. In line with our commitment to safeguarding and child protection, we strongly encourage all schools to send a delegate to this training course.
