About/Acerca de (Mrs. Arnold)

Hi! I am Mrs. Arnold and I am so honored to be your child's 5th grade teacher this year. This year marks my 19th year of teaching and the last 9 of them have been at Las Positas in 5th grade. Way back when, my children and myself attended LHCSD schools. I love teaching at Las Positas and so look forward getting to know each student and sharing our journey to our IB authorization.

On a personal note, I am married and have 2 grown children (Samantha and John).My daughter and her husband have blessed me with 4 wonderful grandchildren. My son and his wife will be blessing me with another granddaughter in October. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and fur babies. I also enjoy reading, gardening and spending time in the outdoors.

¡Hola! Arnold y me siento muy honrado de ser la maestra de 5o grado de su hijo este año. Este año se cumplen 19 años de enseñanza y los últimos 9 de ellos han estado en Las Positas en 5o grado. Hace mucho tiempo, mis hijos y yo asistimos a las escuelas del LHCSD. Me encanta enseñar en Las Positas y así que espero conocer a cada estudiante y compartir nuestro viaje a nuestra autorización del IB.

En una nota personal, estoy casado y tengo 2 hijos adultos (Samantha y John). Mi hija y su esposo me han bendecido con 4 nietos maravillosos. Mi hijo y su esposa me bendecirán con otra nieta en octubre. Cuando no estoy trabajando, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis bebés de piel. También disfruto leyendo, jardinería y pasar tiempo al aire libre.
