Hello! I am very honored to be your teacher this year. I was born in Los Angeles and have lived my whole life in California. I grew up in the South Bay and attended a high school that blatantly had low expectations for students. Seeing my fellow classmates drop out and not see education as a step towards a better future inspired me to be a teacher who inspires youth to educate themselves in order to be better positioned for more opportunities. I attended Cal State Dominguez Hills and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I then attended Loyola Marymount University and graduated with a teaching credential and masters degree in Education. I have taught in Los Angeles, Hawthorne and now I am at Washington Middle School. I have been at WMS for 4 years now and continue to strive for excellence in my science classroom. In my free time I enjoy going to travel and take pictures of new places (see a few of my pics below). I also like going to the movies and playing the occasional video game.

¡Hola! Me siento muy honrado de ser su maestro este año. Nací en Los Ángeles y he vivido toda mi vida en California. Crecí en South Bay y asistí a una escuela secundaria que descaradamente tenía pocas expectativas para los estudiantes. Ver a mis compañeros de clase abandonar y no ver la educación como un paso hacia un futuro mejor me inspiró a ser un maestro que inspira a los jóvenes a educarse para estar mejor posicionados para más oportunidades. Asistí a Cal State Dominguez Hills y me gradué con una licenciatura en Estudios Liberales. Luego asistí a la Universidad Loyola Marymount y me gradué con una credencial docente y una maestría en Educación. He enseñado en Los Ángeles, Hawthorne y ahora estoy en la escuela secundaria Washington. Llevo 4 años en WMS y sigo luchando por la excelencia en mi clase de ciencias. En mi tiempo libre disfruto yendo a viajar y tomar fotos de lugares nuevos (vea algunas de mis fotos a continuación). También me gusta ir al cine y jugar videojuegos ocasionales.
