Hello Class! Mr. Bean here. This is my 24th year teaching in La Habra City School District. Together, we will be successful and enjoy learning together. My goal is to be a positive force in the lives of our youth. I strive to make learning engaging and love incorporating technology into my lessons on a daily basis. I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree from Hope International University. I then went on to complete my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential at Cal State University, Fullerton. I also have earned a Master’s Degree in education from Hope International University.

My wife Rebecca is also a teacher. We are blessed with four children, Kimberly, Emily, William, and Emma. They definitely keep us busy around here. They have many different interests from soccer, to lacrosse, Boy Scouts, to gymnastics. Many of my other family members are also in education. So between my wife, my family, my kids, and myself, we spend a lot of our time interacting with kids on a daily basis. You could say helping our youth is dear to my heart.

I volunteer at church to work with youth. I am also on the bargaining team on behalf of the teachers in our district.

¡Hola clase! Sr. Bean aquí. Este es mi 24 año de enseñanza en el Distrito Escolar de la ciudad La Habra. . Juntos, tendremos éxito y disfrutaremos aprendiendo. Mi objetivo es ser una fuerza positiva en la vida de nuestros jóvenes. Me esfuerzo por hacer que el aprendizaje sea atractivo y me encanta incorporar la tecnología en mis lecciones a diario. Recibí mi Licenciatura en Artes de la Universidad Internacional Hope. Luego completé mi Credencial de Enseñanza de Múltiples Materias en la Universidad Estatal de Cal, Fullerton. También obtuve una maestría en educación de Hope International University.

Mi esposa Rebecca también es maestra. Somos bendecidos con cuatro hijos, Kimberly, Emily, William y Emma. Definitivamente nos mantienen ocupados por aquí. Tienen muchos intereses diferentes, desde fútbol, ​​lacrosse, boy scouts y gimnasia. Muchos de los otros miembros de mi familia también están en educación. Entonces, entre mi esposa, mi familia, mis hijos y yo, diario pasamos mucho tiempo interactuando con los niños. Se podría decir que ayudar a nuestra juventud es muy querido para mi corazón.

Soy voluntario en la iglesia para trabajar con jóvenes. También estoy en el equipo de negociación en nombre de los maestros de nuestro distrito.
