Google Classroom
I will be posting all classwork and the daily schedule in Google Classroom on Monday of each week.
Parents can sign up for Guardian Reports and choose how often you would like to get an email letting you know how your student is doing with turning in work.

I will use Remind to communicate with you throughout the year. Please sign up for our Remind class by texting xxxx to xxxxxxxx.

Aeries
In addition to Google Classroom, we will also be using Aeries Communication. I will be sending important announcements specifically designed for homerooms.
Parents can download the Aeries app so you can respond to your child and receive communication from me.
Please make sure to have correct contact information!

Necessary Class Materials
Always needed:
Pen/ Pencil: Colored pen is fine as long as it's not red or too bright
Notebook: Spiral notebook is most recommended. Journals or 3 ring binder with paper is fine as well. I do NOT recommend just lose papers without a binding agent.
iPad: must be charged and ready to be used.
Curriculum workbook: Mathlinks booklet!
Sometimes needed:
Color pencils/ markers: We do creative works from time to time. Having colors ready makes it easier to transition.
Calculator: Rare, but external calculators do come in handy from time to time
Ruler: Especially during Geometry unit
Protractor/ Compass: Specifically during Geometry unit
