Welcome to Third grade! How exciting it is for me to welcome third graders to a new school year! I am looking forward to an awesome year learning and growing with your child! As you know Las Positas is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Candidate School. Our classroom will also be focusing on the IB PYP Mission Statement : The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
¡Bienvenidos al tercer grado! ¡Qué emocionante es para mí dar la bienvenida a los estudiantes de tercer grado a un nuevo año escolar! ¡Estoy deseando un año increíble aprendiendo y creciendo con su hijo! Como ustedes saben Las Positas es un Programa de Bachillerato Internacional De Años Primarios Escuela de Candidatos. Nuestro aula también se centrará en la Declaración de Misión del PYP del IB: El Bachillerato Internacional tiene como objetivo desarrollar jóvenes inquisidores, conocedores y atentos que ayuden a crear un mundo mejor y más pacífico a través de la comprensión y el respeto interculturales.

I will be posting some classwork assignments in Google Classroom especially writing and comprehension activities.
Students will join the Google Classroom at the beginning of the school year.

In addition to Google Classroom, we will also be using Seesaw. I will be sending students their Home Learning Code so that they will be able to join our Seesaw Class.
Parents can download the Seesaw Family app so you can respond to your child and receive communication from me.
