Why audition for a musical?
This is an opportunity to be a part of a school-wide experience where students from all departments come together to produce a professional level show.
Why audition for the pit orchestra?
The genre of music is wildly different from other pieces in our symphonic/band repertoire. It is a chance to expand your performance experience by strengthening your talents and skills in other musical styles.
Why "The Addams Family"?
Great question. From the Director:
The Addams Family are creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky, yes… But this group of oddballs foster a family environment that encourages each member to be true to themselves, while remaining non-judgemental of all lifestyle choices.
The members of the Addams Family are not afraid to break the norms of average society and live a life that is genuine to who they truly are, even when the rest of the world wants to judge their lifestyle. They are unabashedly themselves, and are a model to others on how to life authentically.
To sum-up:
It'll be a great time. There might be pizza. At some point. No Promises.
