Step 1 - Check Your Exemption Status

Check the College Readiness Scores to see if you are exempt from taking the TSIA2. If you are exempt, you do not need to take the TSIA2. If you are not exempt, continue on to Step 2.

Step 2 - Complete the Pre-Assessment

This pre-assessment is required by the state of Texas to be completed BEFORE a student can take the TSI. It also provides students with more information about the TSI as well as valuable practice.

• Students must create an account for the Practice APP if one has not already been created. Use your personal email address.

• After successfully logging in, select Texas Success Initiative 2.0 Pre-Assessment Activity (TSIA-2-PAA)

• Click on Begin Pre-Assessment Activity

• Choose Lago Vista as the campus where you plan to take the TSIA2

• Forward (or print) your Certificate of Completion to Mrs. Clark in the Counseling Office. You will not be allowed to test unless Mrs. Clark has a copy of your Certificate of Completion!

Step 3 - Take the TSI

Once Mrs. Clark has received your Certificate of Completion, you will be contacted to schedule your TSI.
