Install
Install the Reader Add-on on your Google Docs
In the Doc menu go to Add-ons, select Get Add-ons.

On the pop up window search "Reader" and select the reader by pressing the blue +Free button.

Once more press the blue + Free button on the next part of the pop up window.

Open
In the Doc menu go to Add-ons, (1) select Reader (2), select Open Reader (3).
Read
On the right side the Reader Side Bar opens.
Increment the Volume and press the Red Glasses button to start reading the document.
Stop
To Stop the reader, press the Gray Stop button.
Voice
Choose a Voice and Language that fits the document.
Rate
Change the Rate of the reader, to increase or decrease the speed with which the text is read.
Pitch
Change the Pitch of the voice, to give a higher or a lower tone to the voice.
Delay
Change the Delay for the Queue to Highlight the next text and to Scroll down, so it matches the voice.
Delay Blank Lines
Delay Blank Lines so the Queue waits to Highlight the next text and Scroll down. Handy when you have a lot of short lines.
