How does LAFSD foster Information and Digital Literacy?

Being a good digital citizen is knowing how to be responsible, safe and effective on the internet and all digital devices. We believe that it is imperative for students to have the skills necessary to find reliable information by evaluating resources, strategic online searching, and using databases and other information provided by school and public libraries.

Students in grades K- 8 are provided with grade appropriate information literacy skills and digital citizenship instruction through district-wide shared library goals.
