This week I have made a lot of progress. We started the morning on Monday out with a circle, and then had a normal day. Tuesday we went to the Elders Lunch and I learned a lot about cooking. I learned that cooking is something I really enjoy. On Wednesday we had a normal workshop day. On Thursday we did IXL for the first time, and I learned how to make a latte. I learned that although I would prefer a teaching internship, I would be okay with starting out with the coffee shop. 

This week was my second full week at  Big Picture. My main highlight from the week was going apple picking. It was a different experience for me to be at Navarino and not be working. I haven't gone out into the fields to actually pick apples in years.   The rest of my week was normal for the most part, We just had regular days. However we did have our first advisory day that takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for internship days.  So far I really enjoy the way that things are organized at Big Pic. I think that this will be a really good fit for me. 

This week was very productive, on Monday we had a normal workshop day, then after school I had a volleyball game that we won. On Tuesday We had the coffee shop, I was the main barista. I think that for our first day we did really good, we still have a few kinks to work out but overall, we did well.  After school I had another volleyball game, and we lost. On Wednesday we had a normal workshop day. On Thursday we had the coffee shop again, I think that we did a bit better but there were two fire drills   during this period and I feel like this threw us off a bit. After school we had another volleyball game and we lost again. On Friday we cooked for the STP proposals. This went very well, the food was delicious.  After school I had another volleyball game, and we won. 

Last week was slow. I stayed home on Wednesday and Thursday, and the days in school were not very eventful. On Monday Schuyler and I went to green hills with Walt. We got supplies for the coffee shop, and for the Elders Lunch. I set up a date to meet with a writer for an internship.  On Tuesday I worked at the coffee shop. We were very busy, and had a lot of high school orders. On Friday our class went to the apple fest grounds, and we cut up peppers and onions. 

This week I have improved on my organization skills. I have been getting my goals done without immense stress, and have been getting a lot of work done. This week was very productive, I had a job shadow for my writing. It went very well and she is currently contacting publishers that may be able to produce one of my pieces. I am very excited to continue with this internship. In the coffee shop I learned more about how to make a good cup of coffee, and I was able to put multiple orders out at a time without stress. 

Reflecting back on this week, a lot happened. On Monday I started to type my newspaper submission. I created a scary short story, seeing as Halloween is coming up. On Tuesday we had coffee shop, and we started experimenting with different hot chocolate mixtures. and also I learned how to make whipped cream.  On Wednesday we had visitors. I presented my portfolio to them. I learned a lot about public speaking during this experience and they said I did great. On Thursday we had the coffee shop again, and I added the finishing touches to my article. Typing this short story made me realize truly how much I love writing. 

This week was very productive. On Tuesday I ran the coffee shop, after this I worked on my who am I. On Wednesday skys mom came in and talked about public speaking. That day I almost finished everything for my who am I and it was a very work filled day. On Thursday I ran the coffee shop again, and it was mainly by myself. I think I did really well. On Thursday I finished everything for my who and I. The only thing I have left to do now is practice, I feel like I am prepared for this presentation. I am also excited to see how this will get me ready for the rest of my big picture experience. 

 This week on  Tuesday I went to my teaching internship. I helped put the kids, and I am going to teach a lesson soon. On wednesday we had normal workshop classes. I got the most done in science. On Thursday Schuyler, Walt and I all went to a culinary experience. WE spent the night and cooked all day. I learned a lot from this experience. I learned how to cook different things, and I got to know my teacher better.
