About Me!

Welcome to the FGC! I am excited about beginning the school year and getting to know all of our students and families!

My name is Ms. Hulbert and I teach science on Team Earth. I received my BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Science from Missouri State University. Additionally, I am certified in Middle School Science. I am also currently working on my MA in Elementary Education from SEMO. The FGC is unlike any other school that I have worked at and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else!

Interests: My favorite activities include spending time with my family, hiking, shopping, and doing anything crafty or active! Using my Cricut machine is one of my favorite ways to craft or customize things. I also love watching Blues and Cardinals games when I get the chance. I'm a tea and coffee drinker, and I have a sweet tooth

FAQ:

What are school hours?

Homeroom starts at 7:20am. The final bell rings at 2:25pm.

Who do I tell about change of transportation?

Please let Mrs. Harris or Mrs. Small know about any changes in transportation, forgotten instruments or lunchboxes, or notes for the nurse/PE teachers. They will ensure your child gets this information. You can call the school at 314-983-5540, or email at eharris@ladueschools.net / lsmall@ladueschools.net.

What is the cell phone/apple watch policy?

If your child brings a cell phone to school, they should keep it turned off and in their locker. Students are not permitted to text at school, including during lunch and recess. If your child has an apple watch, please consider using SchoolTime to eliminate possible distractions. Information and directions about SchoolTime can be found here.

How does the FGC communicate with parents?

Team Earth uses ParentSquare to send home weekly updates. The FGC and the Ladue district send out information and updates using this platform as well. If you are not on ParentSquare yet, please click here to learn more. If you are on ParentSquare and have not been receiving our weekly email blasts, please reach out to the front office to ensure your contact information is up to date.

Can my child get on Google Classroom at home?

Yes! They will log in with their school email. This will be the first letter of their first name, their last name, the last 2 numbers of their student ID, and will end with @ladueschools.net. Their password is their student ID without the 00 at the beginning. Students should have this information in their student planner.

My child received a reminder. What does this mean?

Reminders are given if a child is not following ROARS expectations. This is the way the FGC communicates with parents each week. Please look for this every Friday, sign it and return it the following Monday.

Examples include:

Everyone makes mistakes and forgets things, but if your child is getting a few reminders each week, we may ask for a meeting with you and your child to problem solve a solution.
