Access to St. Louis County Library digital material

Most students have access to the digital media available through the St. Louis County library!

Go to the St. Louis County Library's website: (slcl.org)

Click on eMedia under the "Books, eMedia & More tab.

Tip:

You can access all of OverDrive, but OverDrive for Kids narrows choices to an elementary level.

Students will have access to all of Overdrive. To limit their access to elementary, click "OverDrive for Kids".

Click the "Sign In" button:

Now ALL library card numbers through Ladue should start with 06 then your six-digit student ID, no spaces. (Your student ID is your computer password minus the two zeroes at the beginning.) If this does not work for you, please email me if you need assistance.

The PIN is 1234.

Once you are logged in, go to "My Account" and "Settings" to filter your media to "juvenile" only content. You can also change the length of the checkout time. Choose from seven, fourteen, or twenty-one days.

Enjoy audiobooks, ebooks, movies, and videos!

Your card number and PIN will also work when using research tools/databases.

You cannot access Hoopla because it requires a password.

To view ebooks or listen to audiobooks from Overdrive on your phone or tablet, you will need to download the Libby app. To choose a library, put in your zip code or type in "St. Louis County Library".
