Welcome to Class!

Hello, everyone! I'm Mr. Schmitz, and I'm excited to be your teacher this year! Since we're learning online, I thought I'd introduce myself in case you missed the Open House and are wondering if I'm actually a real person or just a face that appears in your computer screen.

A few things about our class:

✅ You don't have to know all the answers.

✅ It's okay to make mistakes.

✅ Participation is encouraged, even if it means unmuting yourself for a brave 10 seconds.

✅ Learning is easier when we support each other and feel comfortabe asking questions and sharing ideas.

Since we're online, I may not see you in a classroom, but I still want to get to know you. I look forward to learning about your interests, hobbies, goals, favorite subjects, and maybe even why your camera occasionally points at the ceiling.

I'm excited to meet all of you and get started!
