Each data sheet contains recycling data of the titled fiscal year from July to June of the next year.
Within the data sheets, it is organized by the 6 waste sheds that operate in Los Angeles: West Valley, East Valley, North Central, South LA, Western LA, and Harbor.
Per the monthly invoice, the amount of each type of recyclable material and total contamination is listed in columns and summed at the end. Percentages of each item is calculated by dividing its sum with the gross amount of recyclables brought to the waste shed.
For the more recent data from the most recent fiscal year (FY 15-16), average amount of contamination is calculated per route from each waste shed.
