Battling Daemons:
Breaking through
Procrastination, Writers Block, and Self Doubt
Because somewhere out there is someone who needs that story.
Someone who will grow up with a different landscape, who without that story will be a different person.
And who with that story may have hope, or wisdom, or kindness, or comfort.
And that is why we write.
― Neil Gaiman
Creating a Writer's Life
Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.
― Joseph Campbell
If there's anything you really care about doing, any goal that you've set for yourself, any dream you want to pursue, you must make time for it. You must set up everything in your life to make it possible.
Conquering Procrastination
The only thing worse than starting something and failing...

― Seth Godin
Breaking through Writers Block
There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal.
― Toni Morrison

Fighting Self Doubt
Never be ashamed!
There's some who will hold it against you, but they are not worth bothering with.
― J. K. Rowling
Destroying Perfectionism
Perfectionism is the voice of the oppressor, the enemy of the people.
It will keep you cramped and insane your whole life.
― Anne Lamott
All writers have days when we need a little writing inspiration. It doesn’t matter if you’re writing a novel, website content, a blog post or a Facebook ad; we all experience times when the words won’t flow, and the little tricks we use to move us in the right direction aren’t working. Those are the times when I need my comfort food. My comfort food consists of writers that I read, respect, and admire the most. They provide a unique blend of the right insightful words that can clear my mind, motivate me, and lift me high above the crippling funk called writer’s block.
― Cheryl Brown
