I’m excited to start a new year full of all of the GOOD kinds of Drama at La Center Middle School!
Drama is truly the best subject because it incorporates Language Arts, History, movement, technology, and communication. It teaches students to have compassion for one another as well as teaches them the discipline it takes to collaborate and complete a project. I expect students to participate in class, show one another respect, and hope to give each student an appreciation for Drama and a critical eye towards the arts and communication in general.
Please contact me with any questions, concerns, donations, etc. I’m looking forward to a great year!

This class has a pre-requisite of Drama I.
Attendance is important in Drama as your absences effect your group's ability to rehearse their scene. Please let Ms. Ott know whenever you have an upcoming scheduled absence.
This class will include several scene and monologue presentations as well as two evening performances (one in the fall and one in the spring).
A large portion of your grade will be reflective of the effort you put in. Almost all of my rubrics include a category that assesses how much time and energy you spent preparing for your performance.
