LCMS Counseling Mission:

The mission of the La Center Middle School counseling program is to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and other community members to create a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment where students can develop into successful life-long learners and members of a productive community. This will be done through the creation and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program using a wide variety of evidence-based practices and strategies used to enhance academic, social, and personal success. The middle school school counseling program will advocate for equity and student success, will encourage self-advocacy, and will promote the development of citizenship that embraces empathy and compassion.
