Welcome to La Center Academy!  We are excited to have the opportunity to offer our students and parents one more way to an exceptional La Center educational experience.

We are a tuition-free 3rd-12th alternative public education program here in the La Center School District. LCHSA operates under and is governed by Washington State law, WAC 392-121-182, Alternative Learning Experience Requirements.

The Academy recognizes and supports family choice education where parents are the first and most important educators for their children. Our families can enjoy the benefits of being highly involved in their child’s learning while accessing the resources made available to all public school students in Washington State.

Parents or guardians have the support of a Washington State Certified Teacher who is a partner in developing each student’s home study plans. Arrangements can also be made for MS and HS students to take classes from the existing La Center schools as long as they are enrolled at LCA half-time or more.

We use Odysseyware for our 3rd through 8th graders, and APEX for our 9th grade through high school students.
