The assessment process varies according to the clients' condition and will usually take up to 4-5 sessions to complete.
*Example is based on assessments for children
The first and/or second session will be an intake interview to gather information on the child's history (family, development, and more). We will also observe the child's behaviour during the session.
The third session is aimed to establish better rapport with the child and increase familiarity. We would also conduct table tasks and observe the child's behaviour here.
The subsequent sessions will be used to conduct assessments wherein we will use assessment tools (e.g., forms, questionnaires). The psychologist will determine and use appropriate assessment tools to evaluate the child based on information and observation from the first 3 sessions. Data/Scores from the tools will be used to formulate the diagnostic report and check the child's development.
The last session will be to explain the diagnostic report to the parents, which takes a few weeks to prepare.
Measures taken to deal with client's concerns which is determined by the nature of the concern, therapists' orientation, as well as client's willingness and ability to continue with treatment.

The intervention process varies according to the clients' condition and may take months. As such, no definite number of sessions can be confirmed.
The first session will be an intake interview to gather information on the client's history (family, background, and more). We will also discuss expectations, and what the client hopes to achieve from the sessions.
The subsequent sessions will be used to build rapport with the client, guide them in understanding and maneuvering their problem, as well as provide them with the necessary skills to cope with their concerns.
