Astha joined National Institute of Science Education and Research in 2017 after completing her high school studies as an Integrated MSc student. Later in 2020, she joined the lab of Prof. Ponneri C. Ravikumar for her master's project. In his lab, her research was focused on transition metal-catalyzed C-C bond activation of strained molecules and C-H bond activation of phenoxyacetamide.
