Abhipsa Ghosh

Abhipsa was born and raised in Hooghly, West Bengal. She completed her B.Sc. in Chemistry from St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College, University of Calcutta, and her M.Sc. from IIEST Shibpur, West Bengal. Then, she joined as a Junior Research Scholar under the supervision of Dr. Ponneri C. Ravikumar in July 2022 at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar. In 2025, she moved to IISER Tirupati with Prof P. C. Ravikumar to continue her research. Currently, she is working on the application of catalysis towards the functionalization of inert C-H bonds. She likes to listen to Indian classical music.
