All concerts are mandatory, and each performance is worth 35% of a student's grade.

For performance attire, we ask that students wear black pants and a white shirt of any kind! No jeans or sweatpants!

Great Brands to shop for: 

The instrument a student learns with is a very important factor to consider for their success. When the instrument does not function correctly, stay in tune, or is constantly breaking, students become frustrated, miss valuable instruction, and become disinterested in band. Therefore, the directors have put together a list of brands that generally are good to look for when purchasing over renting. This will also work when considering using an instrument that has been in the family or from a friend. Additionally, if you intend for your student to use an instrument that has been sitting in a closet, basement, or elsewhere, understand that instrument may still have life left in it, but may need some repair, maintenance, or cleaning.
