Transit Equity Day SOLIDARITY FUND

In 2022, the Labor Network for Sustainability was able to provide stipends up to $500 for local organizations to organize Transit Equity Day events. LNS may have the opportunity to do the same this year, but it is not guaranteed. If so, stipends will be allocated based on a first-come, first-served basis. See more information below.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Only community-based organizations are eligible for the stipends, not individuals.

  2. Government agencies and businesses are not eligible for the stipends.

  3. Community-based affiliates of national organizations may be eligible.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Organizations must have registered an event through the LNS webpage.

  2. Organizations must fill out a W-9 form and submit to LNS.

PROCESS

  1. Register your Transit Equity Day event at the LNS website by December 20, 2023 and indicate that you are requesting a stipend for the event.

  2. LNS staff will follow up with you regarding completing the W-9 form and information on how to send the funds.
