Craftsmanship is important! Take your time and be as neat as you can
What you'll need:
A medium paintbrush
Watercolors
Oil Pastels (Light colors like white or yellow)
Mixed media paper (regular paper will rip)
Painters tape (light blue)
Keep adding layers to darken the squares.
Remember to leave a space between squares so they don't bleed into each other.
Cut or tear tape, preferably masking tape, and stick it to your paper.
Paint over the top and when the paint tea has dried completely remove the tape.
Draw shapes onto your paper with a light colored oil pastel (white or yellow) then paint over the top with slightly diluted watercolor.
The oil will resit the paint.
Apply clean water to an area on your paper with a clean brush.
Before it dries, load up your brush with watercolor paint and touch it to the water, the color will spread quickly.
