Week 7 tasks

Many people around the world celebrate different holidays. My family and I celebrate many different ones as well. That includes Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and even our birthdays. What does your family celebrate?

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I don't just like it for the presents, even though the presents are great! I like it for the food, the friends and family, and most importantly celebrating the birth of Jesus. Every Christmas for my family is hectic, because I have a big family. A typical Christmas day for my family usually looks like this. We wake up, we than open up all of our presents. After we open our presents we eat our famous family breakfast. When that is all over we get ready for the day. That usually takes about 3 hours for my whole family. When we are done getting ready we head out the door.

Next we are in the car ready to go to my Aunt and Uncles house. The ride down takes about two hours. Nobody really talks, so that is why I bring my Phone and headphones. There isn't much that goes on in the car other than a couple of laughs and some eye roles.

Finally, when we get to my Aunt and uncles house the girls get the food ready while the boys watch sports or play pool. It takes about three hours to get all the food ready, and than another 20 min to get the tables set and the food on the tables. Then we can finally eat, which is my favorite part. When we are done eating we open up our presents from my mom's side. I always love the presents I get, and am grateful for them.

After the whole family catches up and plays some more pool, we can finally go home. As you can tell it is a very fun but exhausting day. I am grateful for the presents I get and love giving to others. Christmas is my favorite holiday, even though it is a crazy day!
