Help Support Watershed Watch with a Financial Contribution
Each year, our basin groups hold annual conferences to provide feedback on the year's sampling results, inform our members about current water issues and topics, and to provide a time for our samplers to interact and network with one another. Watershed Watch organizes coordinated annual sampling events in May, July and September each year when volunteers assess field chemistry and collect water samples for E coli analysis. Samplers are also encouraged to assess habitat and biological conditions in June, or whenever is convenient.
2024 Sampling Dates:
Samplers can select the most convenient date during each sampling week.
May 5 - 12, 2024
July 7 - 14, 2024
September 8 - 15, 2024
Prior to each sampling event, you will be prompted to register to participate.
Registrants will receive sampling instructions and supplies approximately one week before the event.
Our partner organizations and local watershed groups often hold water-related celebrations, recreational outings, or community service projects. Please check your basin-specific website to find out about events in your area.
