Knowledge Constructor - Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
Creative Communicator - Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.
Introduction Section: Before introducing students to the PBL challenge use the CKLA Domain 12 stories and the videos below to build background knowledge for what it means to fight for a cause.
Knowledge Gaining Section: After discussing what a PSA is and watching the example PSAs brainstorm a list of possible issues/causes with the the class. Work with each student to select an issue/cause for their PSA to ensure that there are variety of causes being addressed in the PSAs created by the students.
Knowledge Organizing Section: Determine if you will have students complete the PSA planner digitally, or on printed PDF. The students should complete their PSA planner before moving on to the Knowledge Sharing section of the PBL. They will use the planner to build their PSA in Wixie.

Knowledge Sharing Section: Students should complete all of the required slides for the PSA components in Wixie, using a combination of text, images, and their recorded narration. You can also have students add music or video of themselves to enhance the PSA. Below are video tutorials for Wixie
