This is the 6th Joint Workshop between Kyoto University and Victoria University of Wellington. This series of workshops aims to gather top-level researchers in Kyoto University and Victoria University of Wellington, as well as those in other top universities, in order to have deep and interdisciplinary exchange of research activities and cutting-edge knowledge on materials and quantum science and engineering. Following the 5th workshop held in Wellington in Nov. 2024, we are happy to have the 6th workshop at the North Campus of Kyoto University in the brilliant beginning of spring surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms.
Venue: Seminar House, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University, Sakyo-Ku, Kyoto, Japan
Dates: 30-31, March 2026
Topics: Fundamentals and applications of materials and quantum functionalities, including (but not limited to) superconductivity, magnetism, topology, and quantum technology
Caution: Since March in Kyoto is a very high tourist season, we strongly recommend you to book your hotel as early as possible.
