Hot topics in correlated f-electron and related systems- International Workshop in Beppu hot springs-
will be held on October 5-7, 2026 in Beppu, Oita, Japan

Scope

We will discuss recently discovered new ground states in correlated f-electron and related systems, such as unconventional superconductivity, high-rank multipole ordering, frustrated magnetic, and topologically protected ground states. In addition, challenges for identifying the relevant interaction for the ground states will be focused.

Information of the workshop 

・Date: October 5-7, 2026

・Venue: The conference room at Beppu Convention Center (B-CON Plaza) in Beppu city, Oita. General information for Beppu is here. 

・Participation fees: There is no registration fee.
                                      (Payment of miscellaneous expenses (~3,000 yen) may be requested in cash at the site.)

・Contributed oral and poster presentations are programmed.

・No workshop proceedings will be provided.

・Accommodations: There is no special offer for participants. In Beppu city, it is easy to find suitable hotels with Onsen (Hot springs) near the workshop site. 

・Visa and Financial support: No visa service is provided. No financial support is available.

・Instructions for Poster Presentation

Presentation Time:
Afternoon of October 6

Presentation Venue:
Lobby next to the Workshop Hall.
Your presentation number will be indicated on the poster panel.

Poster Preparation:
The poster panel is 180 cm high and 120 cm wide.
Please prepare your poster to fit within these dimensions.

Pins:
Pins will be provided at the venue.
