What is Intercessory Prayer?

Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others—standing in the gap between God and those in need of His divine intervention. At BCBP SouthWest Chapter & Waterloo Mission, we believe in the transformative power of prayer to support our ministries, particularly during significant events like our upcoming Christian Life Program (CLP).

Our intercessory prayer team works tirelessly behind the scenes, lifting up participants, speakers, organizers, and all aspects of our ministry work to God. This spiritual support creates a foundation for powerful encounters with Christ and opens hearts to receive His message.

Our Prayer Mission

The BCBP SouthWest Chapter & Waterloo Mission Intercessory Prayer Ministry exists to:

• Create a continuous chain of prayer during our events and programs

• Cover all aspects of our ministry with consistent, focused prayer

• Provide spiritual protection for our community and activities

• Support breakthrough moments in participants' faith journeys

• Invite the Holy Spirit's presence and guidance in everything we do

Join Our Prayer Warriors

We invite you to become part of this vital ministry as we prepare for our upcoming Christian Life Program (June 6-8, 2025). There are two important ways you can participate:

1. Hourly Prayer Volunteer Registration

During the entire CLP weekend (June 6-8, 2025), we maintain uninterrupted prayer coverage. By signing up as an hourly prayer volunteer, you commit to praying during specific time slots throughout the event.

What Hourly Prayer Volunteers Do:

• Pray during your chosen hour(s) from your home or any location

• Follow provided prayer points focused on different aspects of the CLP

• Intercede for participants, speakers, and the movement of the Holy Spirit

• Form part of a continuous chain of prayer throughout the weekend

Available Hourly Time Slots (24 hours):

• Friday, June 6, 2025

• Saturday, June 7, 2025

• Sunday, June 8, 2025

Each hour makes a difference! Even signing up for a single hour contributes significantly to our prayer coverage.

2. Opening Prayers & Mysteries of the Rosary

This resource provides structured prayer guidance for those joining our intercessory ministry.

What You'll Find:

• Daily opening prayers to begin your intercessory session

• Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary

• Specific prayer intentions for the CLP

• Scripture readings to guide your intercession

• Closing prayers and blessings

This resource is designed to help both experienced prayer warriors and those new to intercessory prayer engage meaningfully during their prayer time.
