Have a dedicated space for practicing
Set a goal and be specific! (I want to play from m17-32 with all the right notes.)
Warm up: Use your Daily Warm-Ups and scales
Identify and overcome issues: wrong notes, rhythms, etc.
Start slowly at first before trying to play fast.
Use your Pencil! Even professional musicians make mistakes, and they write in their music to make sure they don't keep making the same mistakes.
Repetition, Repetition, Repetition! After mistakes are corrected, play it over and over again to train your brain.
Record yourself, it can really help get a true idea of what you sound like.
Take breaks and reward yourself for accomplishing goals!
Are you playing the right note? Choose your instrument and the app will show you what note you're playing on the staff.
It's Free!
Easy to use, change tempo and time signatures and place emphasis on any beat.
It's Free!
