Also, please take a look at the calendar above for information on football games, parades, and concerts! Dates are being added now and will be provided in the syllabus information given out to students on Tuesday.

Marching Band Summer School
Marching Band summer school has begun! The KHS Marching Knights rehearse from 8am-12:30pm Monday through Friday until July 29th. 8th graders are highly encouraged to join if possible. Students will learn how to march as a unit while playing, with an emphasis in team building and PRIDE: Passion, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.
This program builds physical strength and strength of character, where students will find themselves in a family of hard-working musicians with a common goal.
If you think your student would be interested in joining, have them contact me, Kaitlyn Mensen, at kmensen@kvusd.org. Students do not need to participate in the summer program to join at the beginning of the school year!
