Guess Speaker

Irene Nakia Hamilton visited high school library to give a writing workshop to some of our classes! Irene Nakia Hamilton is one of the featured authors in The Dine Reader: An Anthology of Navajo Literature. She spoke to the students about her own experiences and writings then will work with the students to produce their own stories in written form. It is a huge honor that she took the time to come work with our students.

The Dine Reader: An Anthology of Navajo Literature is a collection of poetry, prose and nonfiction all written and composed by Dine artists and writers. The writings give insight into many different topics relating to the Dine culture and history. For more information please visit- https://uapress.arizona.edu/book/the-dine-reader
