The Used of Smart Technology to drive Social Enterprise and Security Utilizing IoT, AI, and Machine Learning Towards Sustainable Community

1) The Integration of Smart Technology and Social Enterprise Platform for Waste Management System, Case Study of Kasetsart University Chalermphrakiat Sakonnakhon Province Campus

The objective of this research is to study the development of an automatic image-based classification for waste separation via embedded systems. The 12,000 waste images from both public and local databases suppose to investigate the classification model generation using deep learning. The simulation of the smart bin is developed under the embedded technology. There are 2 compartments of the prototype which are waste sorting compartment and the embedded operation control. The waste sorting data would be recorded and collected to the cloud storage database for further statistical summary of waste in the university. This research could be developed for real use and to make the most benefit in expanding the classification of waste in large industries as well.

2) Smart Security Project: Microcontroller based Speech Recognition

for Event Detection in Highschool

The objective of this project is to develop a security system in high school. For example, physical assault, sexual harassment, and other violence could reduce the risk factors that can lead to violence within the school. The system acquired voice commands converting to text using the Google speech-to-text API. The converted text messages which are matched to the defined corpus of asking for help, the image sensor automatically took an evidence photograph. The system would then send notification of anomalies to the responsible account via the Line application promptly. The system was developed with a microcontroller development kit; Raspberry Pi connected the voice module and the image sensor by Python language programming. This project could be applied to the investigation of abnormal situations in educational institutions or safety management organizations.
