I am an Assistant Professor of economics at Kathmandu University, School of Arts where I am also the Coordinator of the Bachelors program in economics. I have a PhD in economics from Indiana University Bloomington with specialization in development economics and public economics. I have taught several courses including microeconomics, development economics, public economics, international trade as well as political economy. My research interests lie on the issues of development and public economics in the context of developing countries while I have lately been attracted towards political economy.
Prior to joining KU, I also served as an Associate Research Fellow at Policy Research Institute (PRI) the think tank established by the government of Nepal.
