This course is often referred to as the "most important" class because of the curriculum that we teach and how it relates to real life; life after high school. In this class, students will learn about:
finding their passions and how these, oftentimes, can lead to career choices
choosing a college, alternatives to college, GAP year, etc.
paying for college
choosing a career, applying for a job, resume writing, interviewing, etc.
choosing and managing savings and checking accounts at either a bank or credit union
budgeting money
researching and choosing a credit card
investing
various types of insurance

One semester will be devoted to helping students identify their strengths, interests, and goals and exploring various careers, colleges, and post-secondary alternatives.
One semester will be devoted to personal finance, such as choosing a bank, saving and checking accounts, a credit card, an auto insurance plan, investments, and how to budget their finances.
