Sava Othman is an ambitious pharmacist, During her studies she ranked first out of 131 students in the Chemistry department and in turn she was granted the qualification to transfer & continue her studies in the college of Pharmacy for the following year. In addition, She received acceptance of her first research paper during her undergraduate academic period in one of the most reputable Journals in Iraq that has a scopus index. Currently, She continues working in the academic field as the Lab Teaching Assistant in an institute. Furthermore, Over the past 5 years she has held various leadership positions in students' organisations and NGOs promoting health locally and globally. Moreover, She is the current Advisory Board and the Immediate Past President of 'Kurdistan Pharmacy Students' Association' (KPSA). In August 2023, she was elected in Qatar as the Chairperson of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office of the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF) which is considered as the highest position for pharmacy students and recent graduates in the region where she currently represents the voices of pharmacy students and recent graduates in 14 countries at High Level meetings such WHO EMRO RC70. She has also been able to  represent  pharmacy students in-person in EMRO countries (such as; Tunisia, Qatar, Egypt and UAE), later selected to be the official delegate during the World Health Assembly (WHA76) in Geneva and currently at WHO EMRO Youth Council. In brief, all the experience impart Sava the ability to work with team members from diverse nationalities, manage her time more wisely and think more globally and creatively.
