About Science Camp

INSPIRE is one of the innovative program developed by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The basic objectives of INSPIRE are to attract talented young students to undertake innovative research at an early stage and help to build the required critical human research and development base of our nation. 

Highlights of the Science Camp

• Lectures related to all science streams by renowned professors and scientists

• Hands on experience in basic science laboratories

• Science quiz

• Article write-up competition

• Pre-dinner discussions by mentors

• Research lab, skill lab and product lab visit

• Cultural programs & sports event

Eligibility

Students currently pursuing science stream in XI standard are eligible to apply (cut-off percentage in X standard as follows) 

Financial Support

• The entire programme is offered at free of cost

• All expenditures towards registration, travel allowance, accommodation and food for all students attending INSPIRE Science Camp will be taken care of by DST INSPIRE programme through respective camp organizers
