Summer KEDS Workshops
Registration is now open for the KEDS workshops that KSPSUG is hosting. We will be offering a KEDS workshop in 4 locations across Kansas. Each Monday we will have a workshop at one of the locations. The workshop will be the same at each location. Each location will be from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Amy Arnold, and a representative from KSDE will be there to answer questions and lead the workshop. To register go to this link. During the registration you will indicate which location you would like to attend. Lunch will be provided at each location.

June 22, 2026 - Hays - Hays School District
June 29, 2026 - Cunningham - Cunningham School District
New Staff Workshops
New Staff Workshops
Registration is now open for 2 New Staff Workshops this summer. If you are new to the district or will be starting in August for the new school year, this workshop is for you. If your district has not hired new staff at this time, the registration will remain open until 5 days before the workshop. You can go ahead and register someone and we can change the name later once they are hired.
This workshop will cover the very basics of using and navigating PowerSchool. This workshop will discuss the navigating of the categories, quick search, and favorites. Participants will learn the different ways of searching for students. We talk a lot about the View Field list and the many fields in the students table. We will look at running reports. Built in reports and district created reports. Attendance and attendance reports. Sections and registering students in classes will be covered. Accuracy of data entry will be discussed. Lastly, how to get the data out of PowerSchool.
