SWMM model of small sub-basin forced by CRHM outputs

PHyDAP

The Prairie Hydrologiy Design and Analysis Product (PHyDAP) allows practitioners to determine the effects of drainage on return-period flows and flooding.

PHyDAP consists of CRHM model outputs (rainfall, snowmelt, evaporation and upland runoff) for long time periods which can be used by hydraulic models (such as SWMM) to give changes in return-period flows and flooding caused by changes in drainage and/or climate.

The original PHyDAP data sets are intended for use at small (field) scales. However, by combining the data sets with the Hysteretic and Gatekeeping Depressions Model (HGDM), entire basins can be simulated. Contact us for more details.
