This is my 28th year of teaching, and my 24th year with the Kearney School District. Of those 28 years, I have taught sixth grade science and, for ten years, was the district's instructional technology coach until I returned to the classroom four years ago. I love being on the STARS team and working with sixth graders.
I received my bachelor's degree in education from Missouri Western State University, my masters from Mid-America Nazarene University and my specialists degree from Northwest Missouri State University.
Besides my work in the classroom, I have been a lead teacher, a writer and presented at numerous conferences over the years, such as SMCAA, METC, MoreNet, MOCASE, SMCAA, MMSA, State PLTW, KC Technet, Google Summit and EdcampKC.
I have been married to my husband, Joel, for twenty-four years, have twin 22-year old boys, Aidan and Tristan, and two dogs, named Beckett and Binnie.
I am a HUGE collector of PEZ dispensers and PEZ memorabilia, love 80's music and college basketball (go Jayhawks!)
