With the 3CX phone app, you can make and receive calls as if you were at your school phone.
You should receive an email from Ryan/Tech Department with the QR code for you to scan and get set up. Each one is different and unique so do not use someone else's code.
Open the app, and hit ok, allow as necessary for the permissions.
Tap Scan QR Code. (QR code is the easiest way)
In the welcome email, there is an attached image at the bottom of a QR code. Open it and scan it on your screen
You should eventually see a green square in the top right indicating you are connected!
Alternatively, if you do not want to scan the QR code, you can open the 3cxProv....3cxconfig file attached to the email from your mobile device and select Open With 3CX.
Try dialing an extension or a phone number.
When your classroom phone rings, your mobile app will get a push notification to start ringing as well. If you call from the app, the number will show up as a KSD line and NOT your personal cell number.
<<<If you have had trouble dialing out on the 3CX App. Various 816 and 913 numbers are local to us and the rest are long distance which can cause confusion. When you have trouble dialing a number, try the combinations listed in the quick reference sheet on the left.
Helpful Hint: Some teachers have found that using the phone 3CX app works best if its on WiFi. Also try using headphones while making calls
