School Resources

Back Snack Program

Provides weekly nutritious child-friendly foods for students to take home over the weekend. Pre-K through 6th grade.

Kearney Family Foundation

Provides holiday assistance including clothing, toiletries, and groceries. Request holiday support here.

Level Up Kids

Provides dental and eye care assistance to children who meet the income guidelines and live in Clay and Platte County. Services are provided at school.

Operation School Bell

Provides clothes and shoes to students K-8th grade. The program runs each fall and referrals are made by a school counselor or school social worker.

Back To School Resource Fair

Provides school supplies and gently used clothing to KSD students and families in August before the school year begins. Details for the Back to School Resource Fair start coming out in June or July. School supplies are available throughout the school year too. Just contact your school counselor or school social worker for assistance.

KMO Kanteen

Provides weekly food packs from our school food pantry for students 8th-12th grade. Contact your school social worker to sign up.

Act Assistance

Provides financial assistance for juniors and seniors with free and reduced lunch status. Contact your school counselor for more information.

Free/Reduced Lunch

All families are encouraged to fill out the meal application form. Completing this form allows families to qualify for free and reduced meal prices and also allows KSD to potentially become eligible for additional academic resources and funding. Find the application here.

Holiday Meals

Thanksgiving and Christmas meals provided by local food pantries.

The Food Pantry

Kearney Food Pantry is a great support to our families. In addition to providing family support the food pantry also supplies additional snacks for our Harvesters BackSnacks, as well as one KMO Kanteen's main food supplies. Kearney Food Pantry also provides holiday meal support during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday.

Clay County Children's Fund

Children's Services Fund (CSF) provides services to protect the well-being of children and strengthen families.
