In REBUILT, two competing alliances of three teams have to collect fuel, score in the hub, and travel over a ramp or under a trench to replenish their stock of fuel. Teams can earn additional ranking points by meeting scoring thresholds or climbing. The first 20 seconds of the match is autonomous, where robots are operating on pre-programmed paths with no input from the drivers. The goal is to collect as many fuel as possible and score them into the hub. The next two minutes of the match are teleop, where drivers operate the robot. The goal is still the same, to score as many points as possible, but each alliance can only score in their hub for 30 seconds at a time. During the 30 seconds when a team is unable to score, defense is the main goal. The last 20 seconds of the match is endgame, when you either continue to score or climb the tower to score more points.
