Dogwood Elementary

I am Cami Aebersold.  I have been a counselor for 25 plus years, with the past 13 years at Dogwood Elementary.   I love working with Dogwood students to help them be their best! I enjoy spending time with my family and spending time outdoors. Also, I love watching sports, exploring new places,  and being active.  I am looking forward to a different but successful school year!

Hawthorne Elementary & LENS

Hi! I am Tara Spry the Hawthorne Elementary/LENS Counselor. This year will be my 18th year in education. In my spare time I enjoy cheering on my youngest son and his 15u travel baseball team, the Patriots. I also love cheering on our hometown teams the Chiefs and Royals, playing with our two pups, cooking for friends and family and quiet movie nights at home. My name is Elaine Tyner and I am the Kearney Elementary Counselor.  I have been an elementary counselor for 23 years.  Prior to counseling, I taught students at a  secondary school for at risk students.  At Kearney Elementary, I enjoy working with students to assist them in building relationships and making good decisions  that lead to success!  I also enjoy spending time with family, golfing, and just being outside.  I'm looking forward to meeting your child and having an exciting school year!

Southview Elementary


Hello! I am Tracy Waggoner the Southview Elementary Counselor.  I have been a counselor in the Kearney School District for the past 4 years.  Before becoming a counselor, I taught 2nd grade at Southview and 1st and 4th grade in Lawson, Missouri. This school year will mark my 24th year as an educator.  I love working with students of all ages to help them develop the skills they need to be successful! In my spare time, I enjoy cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, shopping, working in the yard, playing with my dogs, and vacationing at the beach.
