New 2026-27 Schedule Coming Soon!
Growing up in Kearney and graduating from Kearney High School, I have always loved being part of this community. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from William Jewell College and later completed my Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at University of Missouri–Columbia.
I am married to my husband, Neal, and together we have two children, Alex and Faye. As a family, we love to travel and explore new places together. Some of my favorite adventures have included trips to Hawaii and Europe.
I am excited to begin my 16th year at Dogwood as the Library Media Specialist! My favorite part of working in the library is helping students discover new ideas, skills, and passions. I love seeing a student’s eyes light up when they learn something exciting or accomplish something new. I also enjoy helping students who think they “don’t like reading” find the perfect book to change their mind and spark a love of reading.
