I grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School.  I attended William Jewell College where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.  I earned a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  I am married to my husband, Neal and we have two kids, Alex and Faye. One of our favorite things to do together as a family is travel.  My favorite trips have been to Hawaii and Europe!  I am beginning my 15th year at Dogwood as the Library Media Specialist!  I have two favorite parts of my job.  1. Watching a student's eyes light up when they learn how to do some new cool thing!  Kids have even been known to teach Mrs. Ross a few things too which is always fun for me as well! 2. Helping a student who says they "don't like to read" find a book they love!
