Can students vote too?

Any New Jersey resident who is 18 and a U.S. citizen can register to vote in the election. In fact, residents can register at age 17 and will be able to vote as of their 18th birthday.

Recent Brearley graduates who will be away at college in the fall can register to Vote By Mail. Students can learn more about the election process on a state webpage for new voters.

App available to Union County voters

The Union County Votes App helps residents access accurate information about voting and elections.

The app lets voters check their registration status and register or update their information if needed. The app also helps voters find their polling place, request forms and ballots, see district maps, and follow unofficial election results in real time. The Union County Votes app is available for Apple and Android devices.

What will voters see on the ballot?

The ballot will contain just one question that asks voters to consider whether the Kenilworth Board of Education should issue bonds for building improvements.

The district wants to ensure voters are informed about the bond proposal before they go to the polls. This website contains information about the projects, funding strategy and extensive FAQs.

This website also will be updated with details on community events and a virtual forum where residents can learn more from architects, financial advisors and others with expertise on the referendum.
