Hello Fifth Graders!!

I am so excited to be with you this year as we begin climbing mountains in your middle school career!

This will be my third year at Kennedy and my seventh year teaching. I began my career at State University of New York at Oswego when I studied Childhood Education with a concentrate in Earth Science and a minor in Athletic Coaching. I then moved to New York City and began teaching while simultaneously working on my master's degree from City University of New York at Hunter College in English as a Second Language. In June of 2018 I moved to Illinois and have been proudly teaching at Kennedy Middle School ever since.

I love to be outside, reading, or making something delicious in the kitchen. This year I am looking forward to learning a lot of new technology to bring the classroom to life, outside of the classroom. :)
