ʻOhuʻohu Keaʻau i Ka Liko Lehua
Keaʻau is adorned with the beauty of our children. Our students are linked to the buds of the lehua blossoms, full of promise and beauty that is just beginning to fully form. They are nourished with knowledge and that is just the beginning to fully form. They are nourished with knowledge and guidance by our faculty, staff, and administration in hopes that they will blossom into good and industrious men & women.
Lehua blossoms cover the Puna district, and it is fitting that our students come from all around our island to grace what was once royal lands here in Keaʻau, not just with physical beauty but more so with the beauty that the students carry within. Our princess, Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Pākī Bishop, had the foresight to ensure that with her will, this beauty can continue to flourish into the future generations of native Hawaiian children.
